The Pleasanton Bulldogs got out to an early lead and never looked back Saturday, as the boys basketball team was able hold S-E-M to just six points in the first half en route to a 59-27 win. With the win the Bulldogs improve to 10-5 on the season.
The #2 ranked D1 Pleasanton Lady Bulldogs enjoyed similar success as they knocked down five three pointers in the first half and defeated S-E-M 49-22, to improve to 14-1 on the season.
In other action, the South Loup Bobcats basketball teams continued to build on their impressive seasons. The Boys basketball team improved to 10-1 with a 74-50 win over Brady.
The Lady Bobcats won their fourth straight game with a 55-20 win over Brady, and improved to 10-3 with the win.
Out west, the Mullen Broncos bounced back from Tuesday’s loss to North Platte St. Pats with a 55-21 win over Arthur Country. The Broncos are now 8-4 on the season.
On the girls side of things, it was a tight one, but the Lady Broncos prevailed in 38-34 win over Arthur County to improve to 11-2.
