Round 6 of the 2018 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo is in the books and our local stars are shining bright.
Steven Dent of Mullen ended up in a 3 way tie after he combed Flying U Rodeo’s Lil Red Hawk to the tune of 87.5 points to split 2nd, 3rd, and 4th pocketing North of 15,000 adding to his cause. Dent is solid at 4th in the All-Around Race, 4th in the World Standings and 1st in the ever important Average race.
After a No Score in Round 5, Elsmere, Nebraska’s Cort Scheer came back with fire in his eyes in Round 6. Scheer tied for the Round win aboard MoBetta Rodeo’s Sue City Sue with 89.5 points pocketing just over $23, 000 in the Round. Scheer is sitting good in the average at 4th, moving up to 3rd in the PRCA World Standings, and 3rd in the Ram Top Gun Standings for most money won at this years Wrangler National Finals Rodeo.
