LOUP CITY – The former Loup City teacher who is accused of secretly videotaping the girls’ locker room was scheduled to appear in Sherman County Court on Thursday, Jan.21, but according to court documents, he waived his right to a preliminary hearing.
Twenty-four-year-old Anthony Rahe, who taught Ag at Loup City, was arrested in October 2015 after a student found the camera.
Rahe will now be bound over to district court on 14 of the 15 charges against him. Rahe is charged with eight Class IV felony counts of unlawful intrusion, along with three Class IIA felony counts of possession of child pornography and three Class ID counts of manufacturing a visual depiction of sexually explicit conduct. Rahe was also already found guilty on a Class I misdemeanor charge of unlawful intrusion. He has pleaded not guilty to all 15 charges.
The charges originated from incidents that allegedly took place over a two-year period from 2013-2015.
Rahe is currently out of jail on 10 percent of $50,000 bond, and is scheduled to be arraigned on Feb. 2 at 9:30 am in Sherman County District Court.
