BROKEN BOW – The activity information from the Custer County Sheriff’s Office is in for the week of January 11 to January 17. The Office reports there were 38 calls to service, including reports of disturbing the peace, phone scams, multiple DUIs and accidents causing property damage, among others. Two felonies were reported during the time period, a burglary/theft in rural Broken Bow and a burglary/theft in rural Ansley. A total of seven arrests were made, three fresh and four by citation. 11 prisoners were booked into the Custer County Jail, nine prisoners were released that week, leaving nine who were incarcerated. Additionally, the Sheriff’s Office recorded four sex offender registrations or verifications and issued seven handgun permits.
