Dolores J. Call, age 84 of Broken Bow formerly of Merna, Nebraska died Friday March 16, 2018 at the Brookstone View Care Home in Broken Bow.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday March 21, 2018 at Saint Anselm’s Catholic Church in Anselmo, Nebraska at 10 a.m. with Father Jim Hunt officiating. Burial will be in the Merna Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday March 20 at Govier Brothers Mortuary in Broken Bow, Nebraska 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be offered to the Merna Fire Department.
Survivors include three daughters Carolyn (Mike) Chandler of Anselmo, Ne., LeAnn (Rich) Duryea of Broken Bow, Ne., and Kim (Eldon) Schipporeit of Broken Bow, NE, 11 grandchildren, and 25 great grandchildren. A brother Bill (Joyce) Ryan of Grand Island, Ne., 3 sisters Janet Judy of Neligh, Ne., Lois Sheffield of Sherman Lake, Ne., and Kathy (Ted) Stava of Grand Island, Ne., a sister in law Mildred Gier of North Platte, Ne.
Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, Husband Bob, 1 sister, and several brother and sister in laws.
Dolores was born March 25, 1933 in Merna, Ne. to Joseph and Dorothy (Knight) Ryan. She graduated from Merna High School. Dolores married Marvin (Bob) Call. To this marriage 3 daughters were born. Bob died in 2015.
