Huskers Split With Iowa

The Nebraska baseball team bounced back from its loss in the first game of Fridays doubleheader against Iowa to win the second game, 10-4, at Hawks Field.

Junior right-hander Matt Waldron went 7.0 innings and recorded four strikeouts while allowing three runs on three hits. Sundays baseball game between Nebraska and Iowa was canceled due to weather. With the split the Huskers are 16-17 on the season, 3-7 in the Big Ten.


The Huskers return to action on Tuesday night when they host Kansas State, starting at 6:35 p.m.
