Craig Safranek, one of the hotel investors, explains the upgrades.

Carla Larson, Boarders Inn & Suites General Manager says the upgrades have been beneficial.

BROKEN BOW - The Broken Bow Chamber of Commerce presented Boarders Inn & Suites with a GROW Broken Bow Award on Wednesday, June 14.

Investment group G4C, LLC purchased the former Super 8 Motel in July 2014 before changing its affiliation to Boarders.

Upgrades made to the hotel include:
New siding
Lobby
Breakfast area
Convenience store area
Pillow-top beds and bedding
Flat screen TVs
Ironing boards in all rooms
Microwaves and fridges in all rooms
A/C units
Hallway carpeting
Upgraded wi-fi
Charging units in all rooms for phones, tablets, etc.
Fitness room
Outside patio area

Carla Larson, General Manager for Boarders Inn & Suites says the addition and upgrade of the hotel, along with its partnership with the Cobblestone Hotel & Suites has been beneficial.

"It's fantastic. We basically fill each other. If I have an event with too many people going, and the Custer Fairgrounds is phenomenal and that brings a lot of people here, our overflow goes out to Cobblestone," Larson said. "And they have the event center out there so they fill up and then they send their extra guests out here. So the association is fantastic."

Boarders Inn & Suites is located at 215 South E St. in Broken Bow.
